While on one hand I agree with this advice, on the other hand I don't. Yes, if you want to be successful you have to take risks, yet there's a difference between risk and risky. One of the most popular sayings is "Life is a journey, not a destination". Sounds great, right? It's not. We've all been on journeys, and think about what the penultimate goal was...to get somewhere. A journey implies that there is a destination in mind, a finish line, a 'thing' you finally reach so you can rest. You undergo this journey to celebrate it's end. Is that how you want your life to be? To celebrate the end of things? Rejoice that something is over? Not me. To me, life is a piece of music, with each note to be savored mentally and emotionally.
